Hi, my name is Brian and I started A Place for Us Properties just a few years ago.  I thought I'd share a little about why, and what we're hoping to do through our small company.

I recall with such fond memories the various homes we lived in growing up.  My parents rented most of them and owned one as well.  In all of them, my brother, cousins, friends and I made such wonderful memories that shaped us as people.  As we raised our own family, I saw my kids have the same experiences.  I believe in how important a good, affordable home is for families and communities.  We all need a place we consider "a place for us" as we grow up.

With a few years of individual real estate venturing and multiple projects as experience, I felt like I'd found a "home" in helping home owners through difficult situations, helping homes that need some love to reach their potential again, and helping home seekers find a place to embrace and start making wonderful memories.

That's why I started, A Place for Us Properties.

With each home we've bought, my teams and I came to help multiple home owners in difficult house situations get to a better life circumstance.  Each situation really showed the need there is for people who own homes and need help with figuring out how to work through some tough bits in life.

As the renovation projects began for each property we've done, I also found such fulfillment in working with local contractors, supporting their business and helping them provide for their families.  The collaboration and teamwork that develops is rewarding and always leads to a better home for families to enjoy.  I realized that renovating a home provides such a positive impact well beyond the front porch.

As we've finished a project, the number of people who/ve been interested in the home shows the real need for good quality, affordable homes that people can raise their families in with pride, even if they don't own the home.  We've always had more interest and need than a single home could meet.  More families wanting to have a wonderful place to raise their kids and make those fond memories we all cherish from childhood.

We love working with home owners, contractor teams, real estate agents, designers, investors, and home seekers with all the dynamics that come from working together to improve a life situation, a home, a neighborhood, and a community.

When people see the homes we renovate and care for, we want home seekers to walk through and feel like, yeah, "this is a place for us!"

SPECIAL NOTE FOR VETERANS

I'm also a Navy veteran, with over 30 years of combined service of one form or fashion - enlisted, ROTC student, commissioned, active duty, reservist.  It was a privilege and blessing to serve, and I'm grateful for all of our veterans who've made such significant sacrifice for our country.  And, there's such a big need to address veteran homelessness nationwide, including Indiana.  So I have a section our our site for veterans needing housing.  If you're a veteran who needs housing, or know a veteran who does, please review the resources in the Veterans section and reach out to contact us.
